So, My sister Meri, an AVID blogger got on my case about not posting anything. I guess I could say I don't have much to say, or I could say I've been busy... Both are true, in a way..

I have been working at a pet resort for about 5 months now, assisting with grooms then grooming. Now our groomer is leaving and that leaves just me, not having any formal education, but having hands-on experience. I am going to be starting classes for grooming in the next couple weeks, so I can get a certificate. It's a huge opportunity for me since my unemployment benefits will be ending and we need income. It's not full time, but could turn out that way so it's good. The only thing is, I won't be able to do as much artsy stuff as I'd like, which makes me a little sad....

Anyway, here is one of the recent things I have made. it's a Steampunk Chunky for a Make Me Happy Chunky swap, in which one person makes one for me in a chosen theme, then I pay it forward and make one for someone else in one of their chosen themes.

Hope she likes it, I'm proud of it, it was fun to do and the very bottom gear, actually turns!

and even MORE..

So since I'm not sure how to post all my pics on one blog - they come out funny... I'm posting 3 times hoping to get them all in. The first set is for a

"Ransom Note" swap and the doggies are

for a Bizarre February Holiday swap - The

day I chose (of course) was

International Dog Biscut Appreciation Day.

and MORE pictures

These are more of my recent stuff...

What I'm up to..

So, it's been...over 2 months since I posted anything. I can't keep up with stuff anymore.. Oldtimers I think. Anyway, I'm posting a few of my more recent ATC items. Some are for my AFA group and the steampunk ones are for a trade hosted by Alphastamps.com.

Here they are!

I'm gonna be published

Cool Beans, this ATC is going to be published in ArtTrader Magazine - it's an online magazine www.arttradermag.com- Woo Hoo, my first published item!!

Not sure when it will be published, but when I find out, I'll let ya know.

Artsy stuff

So, Sunday after church I went to a live ATC trade at Phoenix Art Supply. Pretty cool store. At the trade they had some of their items set up so we could test them. Had a ball, made some cool marbled ATC backgrounds and some other stuff. They also had quite a selection of handmade papers which were moderately priced. I think I will be going next month to trade.

Here are some of my recent creations, some for Valentines (live trade) others for my ATC's For All group trades.

SIGH

It's been a few days...

Today, I made these little inchies for a trade. They are going out in the mail tomorrow.

Not much else going on except my Mom's best friend (her doggie Mattie) is very ill. Not much to be done about it and my Mom is very sad.

SIGH....

That's it for now. I can't think of anything else to write about..
