These are teeny-tiny containers I decorated for an online swap.

 This is a little skinny matchbox doll

 This is done in a little mint tin

 

and this little guy is in a 1 1/2 inch round tin. 

 

These were super fun to make too.

Theme is textured with metal elements.  Here are the 3 I made today.

I really like them and have to talk myself into trading them.. is that BAD (said in Doonice voice)???

steampunk chunky page

Playing around with burlap 4 x 4 and ink spray, added a collage of a man, and metal embellishments, the "frame" is an old slide holder and I cut a piece of scrapbook plastic to fit in slots so the man is under the plastic.  I think it turned out pretty well. It's going to one of the ladies in AFA.

FOR SALE

Making art today, to sell.  This is a 6 x 12 Mixed Media art canvas. I used acrylics for background, added rolled paper "logs" which had been distressed, inked, sprayed, etc. Pages were from a dictionary, a map page, music page and some joss paper. Hearts are grungeboard, painted in acrylics and with gold-leaf, bead and micro bead accents, torn patterned tissue paper and a flower made from magazine pages. Added words and some black accents.

haven't named the piece yet, still ruminating on that..
