FOR SALE

Making art today, to sell.  This is a 6 x 12 Mixed Media art canvas. I used acrylics for background, added rolled paper "logs" which had been distressed, inked, sprayed, etc. Pages were from a dictionary, a map page, music page and some joss paper. Hearts are grungeboard, painted in acrylics and with gold-leaf, bead and micro bead accents, torn patterned tissue paper and a flower made from magazine pages. Added words and some black accents.

Bisbee

Last weekend Tracy and I went to Bisbee on a whim... While there we found that it was quite a friendly place. We stayed in an apartment at a B&B. The proprietor and owner, Joy was never at a loss for conversation and the main house was a lovely mix of flowers and antiques.  The apartment used to be the old carriage house converted into a 2 car garage with an apartment overhead.  We visited some shops and my new favorite shop is Bliss Bee.  If I could own a shop, it would look and feel just like this one.  We did an evening ghost tour and visited the museum.  On the way home we wandered around Tombstone.  It was very nice and we had a lot of fun.  Here are a lot of pics, some of the apartment, some in the main house, dining room, some of downtown Bisbee, the ghost tour and some of Tombstone. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some projects...

I have been working on these items for a few weeks now.  Thought I'd share.

My DH Tracy is an ordained Animal Chaplain, as is his mother Pattie.  Last Sunday, they were CERTIFIED to practice at our church, how cool is that???

Here are some pics of the ceremony and some added in of Don, my father in law with one of their pups as they attended the ceremony.
